STEP 1: Initial Consultation and Quote
At Golden Horseshoe Downsizing, we believe in being upfront and transparent every step of the way! That's why we start every project with an in-person consultation, where we get to know you and your unique needs. We'll measure your rooms and review the size and amenities of your new home to provide an assessment and zero-pressure quote for our services. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident in our abilities, so you can trust us to make your transition as seamless as possible!
STEP 2: Organizing, Sorting, and Packing
Let the adventure begin! Our team is here to help you inventory your space, decide what's coming with you, what can be sold, and what can be donated. We'll also consult with you on what furniture will fit in your new space and what won't. Once we get the green light from you, we'll dive into decluttering and even sell for you the items and furniture that won't be joining you in your new home.
STEP 3: Getting your house ready for sale
We'll coordinate with your realtor to get your home sparkling clean, decluttered, and beautifully staged (if necessary) to attract buyers. Whether you're still living in your current home or have already moved to your new one, we'll make sure everything is taken care of on your unique journey.
STEP 4: The Move
Finally, it's time to make the big move! We'll coordinate everything from start to finish to ensure all your items and furniture are in your new home exactly as we discussed. And we won't disappear once the move is over - we'll follow up with you to make sure everything is wonderful and that you're happy in your new space. MEET Robyn and Tony
My name is Robyn Cardas. I started Downsizing and Moving services in 2013 and quickly fell in love with helping people transition. Before going out on my own, I learned the business for 6-years from Fiona Hill Downsizing. I started Golden Horseshoe when my family moved to the Niagara region. My husband Tony has worked on projects with me over the years and eventually decided that we should team up full-time. We have a great balance of strengths and look forward to servicing our clients in the “Golden Horseshoe”.
